Thanks for sharing that (assuming you did 👀

Market ka haal: After recovering appreciably after Monday's dramatic fall, Indian equity indices ended on a flat note 😬 with Nifty below 23700 in the highly volatile session on January 8. At close, the Sensex was down 50.62 points at 78,148.49, and the Nifty was down 18.95 points at 23,688.95.
If you notice closely, Nifty 50 moved from 23,500 to 24,700 levels and again reversed back near to 23,500 in the last two months on the back of continuous FPI selling. 🥴 Now, the culprits for the crash, as usual, are weak global cues piling on domestic sentiments, prospective unflattering rate cuts, losses in prominent banking and IT shares, uncertainty around Trump's trade policies, alongside sustained capital outflow. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
The best course of action would be to take a long-term view of the market and ride the tide because India's macros are likely to turn positive in a few months once all of it settles down. 💪
Humara Gyaan: Do you think your credit card is only good for points and cashback? There's a whole world of hidden perks that card companies don’t really shout about. Credit card companies are gonna hate me for sharing this 👀 But, here, take it and go:
1. Roadside Assistance 🛻💥
If your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, your credit card might just have your back! Many cards offer emergency roadside services like towing, jumpstarts, or help with a flat tire. It’s not full-on car insurance, but when your battery dies or you run out of fuel, a quick call could save the day—at a very minimal cost, and sometimes, it’s even free.
2. Return Purchase Protection 😡🚫
Bought something online, and now the store’s refusing to take it back? If you used the right credit card, you might be able to call in backup. Visa, Mastercard, and Amex have your back with return protection on certain cards. They’ll step in when retailers play tough. No more “all sales final” nonsense!
3. Extended Warranties 🔧🛒
Amazon would by default suggest purchasing a third-party extended warranty on the purchase of expensive stuff. But you can forget about it sometimes because some credit cards automatically extend the manufacturer’s warranty—even doubling it. Do call your card issuer and ask what’s covered. Free protection is the best kind!
4. Concierge Services 🏨🎟️
Feeling fancy? You should. Certain premium cards offer concierge services. It’d be like if ChatGPT were a person to be your assistant. Need reservations at that impossible-to-get-into restaurant? Done. Last-minute concert tickets? Got it. Trip planning without the hassle? Planned to the T like how it is all over Instagram. They’ll do the legwork while you sit back.
5. Travel & Rental Car Insurance ✈️🚗
Some cards offer travel insurance perks for FREE. Your card might have you covered fro all the annoying mishaps like lost luggage, medical emergencies, missed flights, etc. And if you’re renting a car, skip the extra insurance—it might already be baked into your card benefits.
But obviously, not all cards have the same perks. Call your issuer and ask. Don’t leave money (or perks!) on the table.
