We have so much to tell you!
Hello,
How have you been? I hope the year-end work doesn't eat you up and keeps you from enjoying the pleasant weather!
An MP from Bangalore, Tejasvi Surya, has urged the government to consider introducing financial literacy as a subject in schools and colleges to help the young generation plan their financial future better. and it made me so, so, SO happy! I hope this really materializes and comes through :")
The G20 Summit in Mumbai has a lot of positive effects for us as a country and I absolutely love the progress but the traffic it caused... uffff it was insane! 😜
Market ka haal: The Markets have been facing a wee bit of a dip this past week. But, there's not much to worry about since we're still above the 61K mark, so we're good! I think a lot of people are booking profits before the year ends and securing gains before they start afresh in 2023, otherwise, the markets have been pretty kind to us. The world still keeps looming around a possibility of a recession but lucky for us, I think India doesn't seem to go anywhere near it!
What I was up to: I was at Social Nation to talk to budding creators about infotainment and coaching them on adding value, staying relevant, etc. But honestly, this week has been super hard for me, with a handful of people in my family dealing with health issues. It just reminded me to tell you guys how thankful I am for insurance. It is of prime importance to have health insurance for every single person in your family because aside from the stress and trauma of making trips to the hospital, it should never give you financial stress.
Humara Gyaan: If you don't have Health Insurance for yourself and/or your family, now is a good time to make that your resolution for the coming year and get one!
🥺 3 things you must consider while getting Health Insurance:
1. Make sure it's sufficient for everyone in your family, especially if you have ageing parents or dependent children, and ensure the availability of top-us. Consider getting a family floater plan that covers everyone under a single policy.
2. Check for co-pay options because it will help you reduce your premiums, but increases the amount you have to pay at the counter in the hospital, so beware!
3. Find out if there's a waiting period for your insurance to take effect and all the conditions that aren't included so it doesn't come and bite you in the bum later on. So, always check the fine print thoroughly!
As the year comes to an end, we are all looking forward to newer, better things in life! As a tiny, little step towards it, we want to shake things up with our monthly newsletter. So,
and let us know what you think because you are A-MA-ZING and your thoughts matter to us very much.
That’s it for this week!
